Our Story

City Foods began in 1998 when Revive Church was still known as Clark Fork City Church. We first partnered with the Montana Food Bank Network and received food along with our business neighbor La Petite. We carried pallets of food upstairs into a small room in the back of Clark Fork City Church on 4th St. We had one small table for the bakery and bread items.

In 2005, Clark Fork City Church became known as Revive Church and moved to 2811 Latimer Street. Not only did the Revive give City Foods a much larger space to work with, but they also moved us into the building first! Since our move we have added new partners so that we can better serve our neighbors. Regular donations Walmart, Albertsons, WinCo, Sheehan Majestic, and Costco enhances our ability to serve our community.

Our staff is made up of many dedicated volunteers who have been with us for years – some for decades. We come to serve, but oftentimes find ourselves truly blessed by those we help. As Jesus gave to us so freely, we commit to live out His example. Jesus came to seek the lost, bring healing to the hurting, and to feed the hungry. At City Foods we share in Christ’s concern for the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Help City Foods

  • Our team of volunteers pick up donations Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at local stores and the Montana Foodbank Network.

  • Saturdays we distribute 4000-5000 pounds of food to hundreds of our neighbors from 10 AM – 12 PM. We have volunteer positions that drive our delivery trucks, inspect and repackage food, greet our guests, review paperwork and answer questions about program guidelines, and fill food boxes.

  • Get Involved: Email Rob at cityfoods@revivemt.org if you are interested in serving on the team.

  • You can designate a gift to City Foods (either online or on Sunday), or drop off non-perishable food donations in the City Foods donation barrel in the lobby. To donate online us the Donate Button below and in the memo designate 'City Foods.'
