Have you ever asked yourself, “What can I do to get someone to stop any compulsive behavior in their life?”
Our desire to help them often hinders someone else to get help. They at times may say “I don’t have problem.”
This group is designed to offer experience, strength, and hope to the loved ones and mentors of people who are struggling or overcoming an addiction.
Here are eight examples of questions to ask yourself:
Are your dreams and desires unimportant? Do only the dreams and desires of others matter?
Are you concerned about what the alcoholic/addict is doing through-out the day?
Do you cover up behaviors of your loved ones?
Do you procrastinate when you feel inadequate, or perfection cannot be obtained?
Is your self-esteem based on how others feel about you?
Do you obsess about other people’s pain and suffering?
Do you stop seeing friends and family members to be with the compulsive person in your life?
Does your generosity come at a cost to you personally?
These are just a few questions to think about. Please join us and see how this group helps break through your own obsessions and compulsive behaviors and enjoy your relationship with Jesus Christ by turning your life over to Him and letting go of controlling others.
